Matthew Murphy

Matthew Murphy is an internationally recognized photographer specializing in theater and dance.  He regularly photographs Broadway's biggest hits, including Kinky Boots, Les Miserables, Rocky, After Midnight, and The Phantom of the Opera, among others.  Additional credits include the Arts and Leisure section of The New York Times,  Broadway.com ('Gotta Dance' Series), Bravo TV, Playbill, Vanity Fair, The Village Voice, Broadway World, Dance Magazine, The Financial Times, Dance Spirit Magazine, Movmnt Magazine, Dance Teacher Magazine, The New York Post, Ghostlight Records, and Paul Taylor Dance Company. He is a published writer and a former member of American Ballet Theatre.
